Golden Gates

With the partial lifting of Covid restrictions in December, we had a special reunion Christmas lunch, but only re-launched our regular meetings on March 10th with a small but happy group. We plan to meet on the first Thursday of the month (next one on April 7th) whenever possible as we feel our way back to some kind of social ‘normality’. Obviously things have changed! Our numbers have sadly slimmed down during the pandemic and costs have nearly doubled in the present economic eclipse. However, we can still sing along to great tunes, chat to our neighbours and enjoy some hearty food around the tables – all giving us the lift we need right now.
The name ‘Golden Gates’ expresses our intention to create golden memories for our community and anyone of any age is welcome to join us if you’re free between 12 noon and 1.30pm on Thursdays – drop in and say hello, stay for food and a very warm welcome!
